Talk about psychedelic! This oversize handbill comes from the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX. The year was 1968 and the date was Halloween, with local faves Shiva’s Headband performing. The intensely trippy artwork is by Texas legend, Jim Franklin. As an extra added treat, Jim Franklin has hand signed this handbill at the upper right. Super bright purple and green, with show info spilling out of the guy’s head. trippy and a bit scary. Perfect for Halloween! This piece measures 9 1/4″ x 13 1/4″ and is in near-mint minus condition, with light handling, and light bend in the upper left corner. Never put up. A great opportunity to get a signed Jim Franklin.
