1969 It’s a Beautiful Day Handbill – Great Highway Venue – Family Dog Series – Excellent Grade

Description

Here is a rare original concert handbill from the Family Dog, dating back to when they were near the beach. It advertises a week-long listing of events, with It’s a Beautiful Day being the biggest band performing. The dates of the event are September 8-14, 1969. The handbill measures 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and is in excellent condition, with staple holes and light staining. It’s printed on found paper, with some “chemical warfare” information on the reverse, which indicates that at that time, the Family Dog was facing financial difficulties and had to use any available free paper to print on.
