1967 Family Dog Handbill: Big Brother & the Holding Company with Janis Joplin – Avalon Ballroom – Near Mint

Description

Great original concert handbill/postcard for a benefit for both the Straight Theater and the New Stage. The bands featured were Big Brother & The Holding Co. with Janis Joplin, Moby Grape, Country Joe & The Fish, and the Sparrow. The event took place on March 5th, 1967 at the Avalon Ballroom. The art was created by the famed cartoonist B. Kliban. The handbill measures 5 1/4″ x 7″ and is in near-mint condition.
