Description
This is a classic and original concert poster from a club in Los Angeles, CA, known as the Kaleidoscope. The venue featured a unique theater-in-the-round design, which inspired the round shape of the posters. This particular poster showcases performances by Jefferson Airplane, Buffalo Springfield, and Canned Heat, scheduled for March 22-23, 1968. The artwork was created by Dahlgren and is featured in the book “The Art of Rock” on page 281, plate 3.79.
The poster measures approximately 18 1/2 inches in diameter and is in very good condition, with two edge tears. There is some handling and edge wear, but overall, it looks great.
