Offered here is one of the most sought-after posters from the sixties. This is BG-134 in the Fillmore Poster Series, featuring fantastic psychedelic artwork by Lee Conklin. It is hand-signed in black pen on the center of the lion’s chin. The poster showcases performances by the Grateful Dead and Santana, who used this image for his album cover art. These shows were held at Fillmore West from late August to early September of 1968.
This is an original first print poster that measures approximately 14″ x 21″. Its condition is very good, with pinholes in all four corners and the top and bottom center. There is edge wear on all sides, some toning, and a tip missing from the bottom right corner. Despite these imperfections, it would frame beautifully.
