1966 Daily Flash Poster – Avalon Ballroom, FD-31, Signed by Mouse & Kelley – Excellent

Here is an impressive 1966 poster for Country Joe & the Fish and the Daily Flash, showcased at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. The poster was designed by Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley. This is the original first printing, which unfortunately features incorrect concert dates. The poster was later reprinted with the accurate dates. In Eric King’s Guide to Psychedelic Posters, it is referred to as FD-31-OP-1. The poster is printed on vellum stock and measures approximately 14″ by 20″. Both Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley signed the poster in pencil, with Mouse adding his iconic running mouse design in the center. The condition of the poster is excellent, though it does show some handling and bends in the left corner.
